A Girl Like Me Network is a 501c3 organization that brings an “out of the box” mindset to finding ways to change lives every day.
We provide our girls with resources and support services unlike any they have experienced before. Our mentorship program expands their experiences and opportunities for leadership development, personal development, and STEM preparation. We serve girls in grades 5th-12th in the Southwest Missouri area.
Our founder is from Springfield, Missouri and has witnessed poverty firsthand and how the struggle can affect young girls. She decided to provide a place that girls can look forward to and take their minds off everyday struggles. Somewhat like a girls club, Amby strives to prepare the girls we serve for the real world. Offering mentorship, help with holidays, getting their hair done or whatever they need help with. A Girl Like Me Network has been created with love and intentions to build a better future for our youth.
To provide a safe haven for girls and women globally, to be an empowering system that mends what once was broken, with integrity, experience, guidance, self evaluation and a solid support system. We take pride in intercepting negative influences with effective goal setting and services we provide to our community.
Providing space and connections to be free and independent. Where girls will understand that acknowledgment and love can and will replace doubt. They can learn how to cope and grow from their past.
Your support and contributions will enable us to meet our goals and improve conditions. Your generous donation will fund our mission.
